Summer IT Marathon: Results
The Student IT Lab has wrapped up the season — and the cup… didn’t go to us. Still, it was clear from the project presentations that every finalist team had put in tremendous work. The jury really faced a tough choice, so we wholeheartedly congratulate our luckier colleagues on their victory!

But the grand prize is just a small part of what the Lab offers its participants. Take a look: in just two and a half months, the students I got hooked on event tourism:
- learned how to work with a demanding client (yes, that’s me);
- mastered efficient collaboration in a distributed team;
- added their first major project to their portfolios;
- and one team member even received an internship offer from an IT company.
I’m very pleased with the outcome and believe the website will definitely shine in future competitions. Once again, I’d like to put it in writing: thank you to the team for your trust, your hard work, and the elegant design and technical solutions that came from you — they made our project so much better.
We’re staying in close touch and planning how to develop the platform further — including building a kit for other passionate photojournalists!
