Greetings from Azovo!

Today I visited the “Phoenix” festival in Azovo — the heart of the Azovo German National District in Omsk Region. The key event of the day was the opening of a German estate — a new exhibition space showing a traditional rural home of Russian Germans from the early last century. Inside, the interiors of the living rooms and even the animal areas have been lovingly recreated.

I took three thousand photographs, picked up baked goods from the cult German bakery in neighboring Alexandrovka, and stayed true to my principle — shooting right up to the very end of the event. In the end, I was the only one who got full footage of the incredible performance by the Liberty string quartet, whose concerts I now warmly recommend personally!
