“Time to Win”: A Sport and Music Festival
The festival turned Omsk into a celebration of athletic heritage: on July 15, the city honored the centenary of the country’s first state sports authority. Special awards went to individuals who’ve helped grow and promote sports in the region. The grand finale brought together sports spirit and live music with headlining sets from “Uma2rman” and “Chicherina”.
Prologue

The festival takes place at the “Green Island” park

Before the official program, energetic tracks are spun by Ole DJ

The mascot of the “Oilman” club greets Dmitry Krikoryants, the region’s sports minister

The program opens with the “Universe” Dance Theatre from the City Creativity Center

The combination of red and black is striking, elegant, and highly effective

This vibrant opening sets a solemn and celebratory tone for the entire awards ceremony

The 100‑year partnership between the “Dynamo” society and government bodies was highlighted

Outstanding Omsk athletes received master of sports badges and certificates

Among the awardees promoting sports is USSR Master of Sports Sergei Frolov
“Uma2rman” Band

Right after the athletes, the “Uma2rman” band takes the stage!

They were eagerly awaited, and the crowd is definitely thrilled to see them

Ironic and charming lyricism: that’s how they describe their style

Songs from their 2004 debut album are still widely listened to and loved today

Within just a year, the band founded by brothers Vladimir Krivostovsky…

…and Sergei Krivostovsky rose to the top of the music scene

Today, each band member gets their moment in the spotlight

Yet the lead singer remains the focus of 90% of the stage time

In line with 21st‑century standards, the concert is live‑streamed on social media

A quick change of headwear signals a brief shift in stage persona

The recitative about the battle between good and evil is well known to fans of the “Night Watch” film

And that’s not the only song the band has created for the film industry

The stage lighting harmoniously complements the music of “Uma2rman”

Their melodies and lyrics speak of simple yet profound things

The brass instruments sound piercing and delightfully eccentric

“Moment by moment, the expectation of the impossible fades away…”

This tender track about fragile relationships draws the audience in from the very first notes

To fully immerse the audience in the story — that’s the mark of a true artist

Ready for some rock’n’roll? It’s time!

The performance concluded with the premiere of the song “Koromyslova Tower”

It’s dedicated to a historical legend from the band’s hometown

Vladimir thanks the people of Omsk for sharing this evening together

The reception is warm and genuinely friendly

And “Time to Win” isn’t over yet: stay tuned for the second part of the concert!
“Chicherina” Band

Vitaly Khotsenko, the region’s head, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech

Members of the 242nd Airborne Training Center appeared on stage

And now Omsk welcomes Yulia Chicherina!

A time‑tested hit is a perfect way to kick off the set

“Heat, heat… The roasted sun over big cities!”

The rhythm is energetic and made for dancing

In 2022, Yulia was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia

Her band’s lineup changes from time to time — there are new members performing at this concert too

Every song is packed with expression and intensity

In recent years, many of the band’s songs have been dedicated to the events in Donbass

The whole country feels for what’s happening there

The video backdrop helps the audience travel thousands of kilometers west of Siberia

“And once again, everything’s ready to break through…”

The tragedy of a vast region resonates in every note

The singer speaks about it bluntly, honestly, and powerfully

And despite all the pain, the belief in justice will keep us moving forward

The audience will feel that — and will likely leave the concert changed

But let’s end on an uplifting note: after all, this is the time to win!
