Victory Day: Bridging the Past and the Future
Celebration at Victory Park wasn’t just about remembering the past — it was about feeling the connection to it. The patriotic project “Between the Past and the Future, We Are an Unbroken Link” turned the park into a living tribute: 25 themed areas showed how history stays alive in today’s communities. The six‑hour main stage concert wove past and present into one emotional narrative.
Park Alleys
All the park’s monuments are awash with flowers on this day

The Soldiers’ Porridge Festival is held in the park for the second time

Eternal Flame
An honor guard stands at the Eternal Flame
A solemn and spectacular guard rotation ceremony has been developed
The memory watch initiative comes from patriotic youth organizations
For many city residents, visiting the festival in the park starts at the Eternal Flame
Every family has its own heroes of the Great Patriotic War
287,000 residents of the Omsk Region went to the front in those years, and 144,000 never came back
Historical facts resonate more deeply when the surroundings support the story
Laying flowers is a sign of respect for the heroism of previous generations
People always capture the meaningful events in their lives, and this is one of them
Even young children will remember the feelings from this celebration and grow up with them
And the older kids will become heirs to the Victory with a full understanding of what it means
Future generations will always bring garlands to the Eternal Flame in Victory Park on May 9
The sculpture of the Victorious Soldier is the architectural centerpiece of the memorial complex
Today it will remain in photos taken by thousands of Omsk residents
Created in honor of the 30th anniversary of Victory, the park will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year
Main Stage
The six-hour program on the main stage is wrapping up: mini-performances, songs, and dances

But the performers don’t lose enthusiasm and keep giving it their all
At some point, taking the stage becomes possible only in the rain
Which, however, doesn’t stop them from showing complex choreographic routines
The “World of Dance” group will undoubtedly be remembered for their skill and elegance
After 6 PM, only the most devoted fans of the arts remain near the stage
For them and with them, the final song by David Tukhmanov and Vladimir Kharitonov is performed
